Beautiful wallpaper set for 2022 Porsche Cayenne Turbo GT

The other day, as I drove the Porsche Cayenne Turbo GT, I was listening to a radio show where the topic of conversation was odd collective nouns. I like that sort of thing. Of course, there are always going to be different interpretations for each, so it is not an exact science, but the ones that made me laugh were the exaltation of larks, the tower of giraffes, the flamboyance of flamingos, and the horde of gerbils. An exaltation—how wonderful is that, really? As this seems like the countless hyper SUV I have driven in the past, I could not help but wonder what a group of these would be called. Perhaps you feel that they are a little silly, absurd, or stupid?

In any case, they continue to appear because they are well-liked by the patrons. I drove the BMW XM prototype in Salzburg last week, the Aston Martin DBX707 in Sardinia last month, and now this Turbo GT. However, there is nothing extremely unusual about this drive. I am traveling with it in the United Kingdom in a car that is driven with the right hand. In what way does it differ? To begin with, the whistling of teeth and intake of breath for this SUV with the GT badge may be as loud as those of the full-fledged M SUV. Similar to the XM, a great deal of work goes into delivering not only linear performance but also a level of handling refinement appropriate for the brand. After all, these are bulky vehicles; the Turbo GT alone weighs 2,220 kg (DIN).

It weighs 20 kg more than the base Turbo, but it is a very, very lot less than the more potent, but ultimately slower, Turbo S E-Hybrid. And if not for its carbon roof, which must have saved at least a kilogram or two, and its standard-fit Porsche Ceramic Composite Brakes, the Turbo GT’s weight would have been even higher. A 40kg increase has been made, but it is in the desired peak downforce area. Its redesigned front apron, those aero ears by the C-pillars, the rear diffuser, and the taller, extendable rear spoiler are all responsible for that.
