2023 Cadillac Escalade-V – Beautiful Wallpaper of Luxury

Cadillac uses the letter V to denote its highest-performance models, Mercedes has AMG, BMW has M, and so on. Indeed, since the release of the first CTS-V in 2004, the American luxury brand has carried a variety of potent and thrilling V-Series models. Cadillac is now adding the letter V to its most popular model—the opulent, full-size 2023 Cadillac Escalade SUV—for the first time.

The most powerful and costly Escalade model to date, the 2023 Cadillac Escalade V, commands the top spot in the lineup. Though they probably are not the target market for this beast of an SUV, some SUV buyers might not see the value in a three-ton, nearly 700-horsepower SUV that roars like a muscle car.

There are not many SUVs available that can rival the new Escalade V. In terms of horsepower, the Dodge Durango SRT Hellcat, Porsche Cayenne E-Hybrid Turbo S, and Tesla Model X all bring considerable power to the road. Still, none can match the Escalade V’s size and high level of luxury.

Six trim levels are offered for the 2023 Cadillac Escalade: Luxury, Premium Luxury, Sport, Premium Luxury Platinum, Sport Platinum, and V-Series. Each can be ordered with two-wheel drive (2WD) or four-wheel drive (4WD) in standard or extended wheelbase (ESV) configurations. The Escalade V is the only model that does not come with 4WD. The price range of the Escalade for 2023 is from the low $80,000s to the mid $150,000s, which includes the destination charge for shipping the SUV from the Arlington, Texas, factory to your neighborhood dealership.

Cadillac loaned me a 2023 Escalade V, which I tested out in the Seattle region for this review. The test car, which was painted in an argent silver metallic, included a console refrigerator/freezer, the optional Super Cruise hands-free driving assistance system, and a credit for the second-row express-up window control that was missing. The manufacturer’s suggested retail price, inclusive of the $1,795 destination charge, came to $154,765.
